Raised in Libertyville, Illinois, ABBY PAULSON grew up enjoying art, dance, journalism, fashion, and nature. Longing to leave her Chicago suburb, she moved to the East Coast for college.
During her time at Boston College, she studied Communication with a concentration in Women's and Gender Studies. She joined BC's independent newspaper The Heights as the Head Graphics Editor. Later she spearheaded the first-ever Creative Director position. She continued to use her skills in various capacities throughout her time on campus. In conversation with her studies, she is particularly interested in effective design as means for social change.
After graduating from Boston College in 2019, she moved to New York to join a full-time volunteer post-graduate program at a local high school. There she works as a college counselor. She is also currently working as a the Lead Graphic Designer for Chi Ossé's 2021 campaign for NYC Council in District 36.
